Welcome to Amy Ledin Photography and Thank You for visiting my photography site.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, I began taking photographs at an early age and honed my photographic skills by creating a sense of time and space of the environment around me. With driven passion for photography, I have traveled nationally and international to document the visual aesthetics of landscapes, boudoir, portraits, stills, and the everyday lives of individuals.

A great deal of effort is put into creating a photographic composition which captures the essence of the subject. Careful considerations are made when selecting the subject, time, location, lighting, form, and color usage of the composition, as well as the tonality of the final digital image or print. Having been trained as a visual artist has helped me to develop the skills needed to create compelling visual imagery.

Studied analog photography (film) process and currently photograph digitally. Obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota, with a photography emphasis. Furthered my studies in photography in NYC.
