Bio

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Amy began taking photographs at an early age and honed her photographic skills by creating a sense of time and space of her environment.  With driven passion, Amy documents the visual aesthetics of landscapes, nudes, portraits, stills, and the everyday lives of individuals.

A great deal of effort is put into creating a photographic composition which captures the essence of the subject. Careful considerations are made when selecting the subject, time, location, lighting, form, and color usage of the composition, as well as the tonality of the final digital image or print. Having been trained as a visual artist has helped Amy to develop the skills needed to create compelling visual imagery.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Amy has a Bachelor of Art degree in Studio Art, with a photography emphasis.
